The BlackRock Global Opportunities Equity Trust is a perpetual closed-end equity fund with the investment objective of seeking current income and current gains, with a secondary objective of long-term capital appreciation. Under normal market conditions, the Trust will invest at least 80% of its total assets in equity securities or options on equity securities or indices or sectors of equity securities.
